Sept. 11

It was my freshman year in high school. My family just moved to Hurricane so it was also a new school for me. I did my usual morning routine before heading off to school. I was in my 1st hour, which was Mrs. Cranes Careers class, just sitting and thinking how small this town was. We started every morning with announcements then we would get to our computers and start working. It was different today because as soon as the bell rang we got in our seats and Mrs. Crane immediatley ran toward the t.v.. As soon as it turned on we saw the planes hit the towers. There really aren't words to describe the vibe in the room or the feelings of 24 freshman. We all experienced something surreal. Though there is nothing that can change the events we can choose to inspire ourselves to live life to its fullest!

For Mason's birthday we went to Las Vegas and celebrated it at my parents house. His theme was "CARS" the movie cause he is totally in LOVE with McQueen. It was a lot of fun! After we all headed to a huge park down the street from my parents house. When I said all I was including the teenagers and adults. There was something for everyone! lol It was such a fun party to end the summer with cause Sina and Ars will be leaving us soon to head up north for good. THANKS FOR THE FUN GUYS!!!

So lately we've been extremely busy and hadn't had the time to check or even update our blog. Our poor computer has had absolutely no love for the past couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure you can tell cause the last post was Jordyn's birth. lol After getting hints to do so we decided to take a couple of minutes and update. Diarra's work schedule changed so it threw us off a little in the week. Then awhile ago we found out were having a little girl. We can't wait! We really have just been trying to get things ready for our new addition cause its just around the corner. November 12th to be exact. We had lunch with a friend of ours Lauvale Sape and his wife Sarah. We had such a great time with them. In all the craziness in our lives we took a little break and went to the water park. It was a great way to just relax and have a little bit of family time. That's pretty much what's been going down! We left out a lot of info cause it's just negativity that's sooo not needed if you want to live a happy and healthy life! hahaha

Jordyn Worthen

Jordyn finally arrived! YAY! She arrived Sat. night on the 2nd. She weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz.. She's much bigger than Alyia and not as long. She looks so much like teni but she's lighter. She's such a calm baby and she's so cute. CONGRATS SEGI!!! and good luck with your recovery!! lol

Coolin OFF

Today we went to the water park in St. George with Sina, Ars, Cord, Segi and all the kids. Diarra's sister Ebony also came. She's here visiting from Seattle. It's her first time seeing Jaelyn. He spent most of the day with her. It was about 108 degrees and we were tryin to keep cool. After a while it didnt seem so hot anymore. It was a great way to get Jae out the house! He cried when we arrived but after 15 minutes and a mouth full of snacks he was ready to play. He didnt play long cause he was so tired. He did however have a lot of fun! We cant wait to go back!!
